MariCar Tour in Tokyo

Disclosure: I did receive a discounted price for promising to write a blog post about MariCar Tour; however, these are my honest opinions about my experience.

If you’re anything like me, you grew up playing Nintendo and a slew of various Mario games. You either battled opponents on Super Mario Smash Brothers, or you fought to have the highest number of stars on Mario Party, or you raced through the streets of various courses on Mario Kart. I did all three, and then some; however, in my house, it was always a battle between my brother, my sister, and I on who was the fastest racer on Mario Kart. We practiced for hours on end so we could beat the other two and claim the glory of being the speediest in the home. Mario Kart definitely stemmed some friendly competition between us three, and it grew to be a love we all shared throughout our childhood. So I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when I found out I could do on a MariCar Tour while in Japan! Continue reading “MariCar Tour in Tokyo”

An Open Letter To My Perfect Travel Partner{s}

When you travel with people, you’ll find some people are better at travelling with you than others.

It’s fun to travel in groups, and it’s fun to travel solo. For me, I find it best to travel with one-two people, as long as I’m travelling with the right person{s}. Travelling with another person is such a tricky business. It can literally make or break relationships of any kind. Just because we may be best friends, doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll be my perfect travel partner. The perfect travel partner is found through trial and error, and when you finally get it right, it’s truly an amazing experience! Continue reading “An Open Letter To My Perfect Travel Partner{s}”

Feature Friday: Meet Marissa C.

Most people in the U.S. take cruises to either the Eastern or Western Caribbean, or to Alaska. Marissa and her family decided to go on a European cruise. Come find out what countries they stopped at, and what she thought about her trip!

Marissa and I go way back to my freshmen year of college. We met through swimming, as we were both on the swim team, and we hit it off immediately. We are similar in so many ways, we found it hilarious. After discovering the many ways, we concluded that we must have been separated at birth, and we even convinced someone that we were twins. One of the many things we share is our passion for travelling! Marissa has travelled to all sorts of places via car, plane, train, and boat. Her most recent trip was on a cruise. Come see what she has say!

5 Hidden Gems Found in South East U.S.

Here are five places in the south east United States that you may or may not have heard of before. In my opinion they are worth paying a visit!

I’ve been in the Southeast part of the U.S. for basically as long as I can remember. I’ve lived in Georgia. I went to school in North Carolina. I’ve visited Florida with my friends. I’ve gone to South Carolina for spring break. In my opinion, it’s easy to pick the places that everyone wants to go: Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Raleigh, Charlotte. Basically the big well-known cities; The cities that offer theme parks, attractions, and sights. But what about the great places that aren’t as well-known? The smaller{er} places with places with personalities just as big as the larger cities? Ready to learn where to find some gems in the southeast? Let’s go! The Reason Behind My Dream Destinations of Palestine & Punta Cana

Want to find out why these two places are currently my dream destinations? Trust me, it’s not what you think!

Everyone has a dream destination: a city, a country, a landmark, or a resort they’d love to visit sometime in their lifetime. It’s a dream because frankly, it seems impossible that it could ever happen. It’s either too far away, too expensive, or too inconvenient at the time. There’s always going to be an excuse why, and sometimes it might even be a valid one. But we know that some dreams do come true, so don’t stop dreaming!  Continue reading “The Reason Behind My Dream Destinations of Palestine & Punta Cana”

Exploring Hawaii

My trip to Hawaii was incredible. Come find out how we spent our time in the beautiful island!

When I think of Hawaii, images of sand, surf, and sun pop into my head; and the island did not disappoint! Surreal doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel when I think about the fact that I actually visited the 50th state. Hawaii is made up of several islands, and if you’ve been keeping up with my posts, you’ll know that my sister, Brit, and I visited the island of Oahu. Continue reading “Exploring Hawaii”

10 Pictures That’ll Make You Want to Visit Oahu Right Now

The pictures taken on my trip to Hawaii don’t come close to capturing the true beauty the island has to offer, but I tried. Come take a look and see if they make you want to visit Oahu!

I recently took a trip to Oahu, one of the islands of Hawaii. It was truly such an amazing experience. Many times I forgot I was visiting one of the 50 states. The culture is completely different from the mainland. I plan to publish a complete post about my trip next week, but until then, I’ve decided to share 10 of my pictures from the trip in my very first ever photo essay! Enjoy!
