Photo Shoot Attempt in Orlando

Travel blogging consists of a variety of aspects – some that I didn’t really think about when I entered into the blogging community. Not only do you have to possess a deep passion for travelling, you also have to incorporate the various aspects of social media, writing/editing skills, and of course, photography skills. For me, each day that I work on my blog consists of stepping out of my comfort zone, especially when it comes to my photography skills.
I connect with other travel bloggers, and I get to see many photographs from so many different people. Most of the pictures that I see are truly breathtaking, and seem to tell a story. There are landscape pictures, or portraits. There are ones that seem simply too good to be true, and those that are raw, and honest. Of course I have taken some pictures that I am really proud of; however, I don’t have a good system for achieving those types of photos. I have so much to learn in terms of picture-taking.

When I was down in Orlando, I asked my cousin to help me with my photography skills. JoJo was kind enough to be my model for this shoot. I really tried to captured the beauty of the area, as well as the model! I was able to model in a few photos as well.

In case you’re interested, we were in the Lake Baldwin area at the Village Park. This little area is full of shops and restaurants to enjoy. It’s super dog-friendly, as we ran into several pups while we were there. You can dress up, or dress down, [as illustrated in the pictures]. Village Park is just a great place to come hang outside and enjoy the fresh air. And if you want to add a glass of wine with that, that’s possible as well!

Let me know what you think. If you have any tips, or tricks, please let me know! I’m ready to learn what I can be doing better!

  1. Ha, I love it. I can see your personality in your pics and you seem like so much fun! I have never been to Orlando (nope – not even Disney) and definitely have it on my list of places to visit soon!
