Feature Friday: Meet Althea A.

Let’s take a journey with Althea as she recounts her time in Dubai and Italy!

Now I’ve been to Italy, and I can agree the country has so much to offer. I haven’t been to Dubai yet, but it’s definitely on my list. The pictures Althea shares, just makes me want to get there sooner. I have yet to have a desert experience, and after learning about Althea’s trip, Dubai may have to be my first desert experience! Check out what Althea has to say:

Althea. 26.

2. What country do you call home?
Italy and Egypt (since I'm half/half)

3. Which city{s}/country{s} did you recently travel to?
Bulgaria, Italy, Dubai, and Egypt

4. How long was the journey?
Total of 2 weeks

5. How did you travel to this country?
Plane

6. What native dish was your favorite to eat?
Italian would be pasta/pizza

Taken in Villa Le Piazzole – Florence. Definitely recommend this wine tasting experience. So fun!
7. What was the most unique thing you ate?
In Dubai, camel meat

8. What was your most unique mode of transportation?
None (mostly car)

9. What was the weather like during your trip?
Cloudy, and a bit rainy

10. Where was your favorite place to go in the city/country? Why?
In Dubai, the desert because it's peaceful and tranquil

11. Did you learn anything during this trip?
That Bedouin Dubai eat a lot of camel meat and drink camel milk

12. What was the best part of your trip?
The adventure of it all

13. What was the worst part of your trip?
None

One of us in the desert

15. How does this country compare to your home country? Were your expectations met, or did they differ completely?
I didn't have any expectations, as I knew Dubai would be similar to Egypt, but it's more clean and people are nicer

16. If you were to go to this country again, what would you do differently?
I'd do different adventures
Tuscan country side
The Tuscan countryside
17. If someone else was to go to this country, what advice or tips would you give them?
Keep an open mind when going to Dubai. There, everything's bigger and better, but it's also pricey!

18. Do you have any more travel plans lined up? Where to next?
